Maths W/C 25 March

In Maths, we have been looking at using our number skills to work out subtraction problems. Children were engaged in listening to word problems. Firstly to work these out children used counting objects (concrete apparatus), then children moved onto drawing their own interpretations e.g. drawing objects and crossing them out (pictorial) and finally they moved on to either writing their subtraction calculation or their teacher modelled writing it and all children said the calculation together.
