World Book Day!

World Book Day 2023

We love to read and we have been so excited  for this day to arrive.

In the morning, we completed activities linked with our year four World Book Day theme - threatened and endangered animals. We made predictions, carried out research using the IPads, wrote poems and created new book covers. We even got to read with our parents when they came in to visit us. It was very fun when we got to pretend to be the teacher and carried out our own Guided Reading seesions with them - we asked them lots of questions about the books they were reading.

In the afternoon, we created our own endangered animal paintings in the style of the famous artist, Andy Warhol.
