School Council gets a Christmas tree donated
Lesson: PSHE and citizenship
During one of our school council meetings the children discussed wanting a Christmas tree. The children came up with the idea of writing a letter to local companies to see if we could get a tree donated to school. This letter was written by the children and was posted off to local companies. The very next day we received a call to school from a company called LBS based in Trawden, Colne. LBS donated to school a 7ft Christmas tree which Mrs Ellis went to collect. We were very excited today as school council decorated the tree and invited a special guest (Ms Tracey), to perform an official light switch on via zoom for all the children to see. We are so proud of our tree! Thank you LBS!
