Punctuality Well done to Y6 Hoopoe Class as all the children were in on time every day this week.
Mrs Simmonds has launched a new incentive this week to reward the children who arrive on time for school. All of the children who arrive at school on time for all five days in a week, will be entered into a class raffle. One of these names will then be selected at random and that child will be able to choose a small prize. |

Recent Events Y4 had a trip to the cinema this week and watched the film ‘Kensuke’s Kingdom’. Mrs Naseem and Mrs Phillips told me that the children were very well behaved and enjoyed the film. Y3 had another session of GULP (Give up Loving Pop) from BFC They were measuring out the amount of sugar in different bottles of pop and were very surprised about the amount of sugar in some of the bottles!

Be Bright - Be Seen School Council are running a promotion to promote children wearing bright clothes now the weather is darker in the mornings and evenings.

Traffic Traffic around school was very heavy today. Cars were parked on the double yellow lines and at junctions which caused Reedley Road and surrounding streets to become totally blocked. Cars were then driven on the pavement and turned around causing danger for families walking on the pavement. This is not acceptable and puts our children at risk. Drivers must abide by the law and must park and drive safely and courteously at all times. Drivers should not use the pavements for parking or driving on as these are the safe spaces for our children. |
