Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you to the parents who have signed the form if they wish their child to fast in school. There is a higher percentage of children fasting than in previous years. Thank you to the staff members who are giving up their break-time to supervise the children who wish to sit in an alternative room.

Thank you for all the donations for the Palestinian people that you have sent into school today.

I am delighted to say that we have raised £2440 for Palestinian people in Gaza.

That is an amazing amount of money. Thank you all so much for your generosity.

Mrs Iqbal has been in contact with the Hope For Mankind charity and is arranging to get the money to them as soon as possible.

Good News

Mrs Sairah Daar, one of our teaching assistants in Middle Reedley, had a baby boy last night. Mother and baby are both doing well.

We would all like to wish her family well.

Our overall attendance for this week is 91.88%.

Only two classes achieved the 96% target this week, Mrs Latif’s Class in Y1 and Miss Veldon’s Class in Y3.

Please note that leave from school will not be authorised as it is the law that children attend school.

Our attendance policy is available on our school website.

We had 10 hours and 30 minutes of lates this week, meaning vital learning is still being missed by some children.  Only Mrs King’s Class in Y1 had all the children in on time every day.

Please ensure that your child is in school before the gates closes at 8.50am each day.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club is open from 7.30am daily. Sessions need to be booked in advance.

Parents/carers must drop children off at the door. Children should not arrive on their own.
