Autumn Term

The Pirates Next Door 

We have been reading a story about a pirate boy called Jim Lad who moves to a small town. It was fun asking Jim Lad questions and retelling the story using Talk for Write.

Non-chronological Reports 

We have been writing a report about dogs because Jim Lad needed help to look after his dog. We loved it when Sammy the dog came to visit us. We asked lots of questions about how to look after a dog. We then used this information to write our own reports.
