Questionnaire We have sent details of questionnaire on School Spider about learning habits “Reviewing Children's Progress: Parent Survey”. Please could all families complete these few questions by Friday 12th December. Thank you. This will help us think about what else we can do to support your child. |

Attendance There is an attendance treat which will take part before the end of term for the children who have achieved 96+% since the start of the school year.
Our overall school attendance this week was 93.77%

Punctuality Well done to the following classes that had the fewest lates this week: Rec Miss Hume’s class, Y3 Miss Khan’s class and Y5 Mrs Mahmood’s class.
All of the children who arrive at school on time for all five days in a week, will be entered into a class raffle. 14 more children had their names chosen this week as they had attended on time for 5 days. They were able to choose a prize from Mrs Simmonds. |

Christmas Fair Join us for our Christmas Fair on Thursday 11th December 3.40pm and 4.40pm There will be the chocolate tombola along with other games, food and stalls. Please bring plenty of change!
Thank you for your very generous donations of sweets and chocolate today! You are all very kind. If you haven’t brought your donation into school yet, please bring it on Monday.

Nativity Well done to our children in Year 1 and Year 2 for their Christmas performances this week. They remembered their songs and actions really well. We were very proud of them all.
Thank you to those families who were able to join us for the show.
Reception Songs Our children in Reception are performing some Christmas songs on Tuesday 9th December at 2.30pm. Families of children in Reception are very welcome to join us.

Primary School Admissions School admissions are now open.
If your child is in their last year of pre-school/nursery you can now apply for their primary school place at: https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/search/?search=school+admissions
It's quick and easy to do and you will receive email confirmation of your application. You must apply even if you already have siblings in school.
The closing date for primary applications is on Thursday 15th January 2026.
We are having a session on Monday 8th December from 9.30am – 10.00am if you have a chid starting school in September 2026 want to come and look around the Reception class. |
