Dear Parents/Carers,
Attendance
Our overall school attendance this week was 94.57%
Y1 Lion Class 100%
Y5 Meerkat Class 98.61%
Y3 Koala Class 98.38%
Y6 Hoopoe Class 97.85%
Y6 Huskey Class 96.42%
Punctuality
Well done to Y5 Meerkat Class. Only two children were late this week.
All of the children who arrive at school on time for all five days in a week, will be entered into a
class raffle. 14 more children had their names chosen this week as they had attended on time for 5
days. They were able to choose a prize from Mrs Simmonds.

Athletes

We are very lucky to have two Olympic athletes visiting our school on Wednesday.
Onyeka Okoh and Reynold Bangio will speak to the children in assembly and will deliver sporting
sessions to all of the children. There will also be a chance for the children in Y3 – Y6 to have a
question and answer session with Onyeka and Reynold.

for the Christmas Fair.

Be Bright - Be Seen
Thank you to everyone who came dressed in bright colours to support the School Council’s Be
Bright Be Seen campaign which aims to make people aware of the need to be seen near roads whilst
we have darker mornings and evenings. Whilst it has been fun to dress in bright colours, please give
some thought to the message behind it and think about whether your child is visible to drivers in
the dark.
School Council have done a good job of selling reflective key rings for 50p.
