School Closure School will be closed on Monday 9th June and will reopen on Tuesday 10th June.

Upcoming Dates Eid Fair - We will be having our Eid Fair in school on Thursday 19th June from 3.40pm to 4.40pm.
Y4 Eid Assembly - Families of children in Y4 invited to the assembly at 2.30pm on 18th June. It would be lovely if each of the families of children in Y4 could send us a picture of the children celebrating Eid. Please send the picture to mrsellis@reedley.lancs.sch.uk

Non Uniform Day We are asking for donations of chocolates or packets of sweets for the upcoming Eid Fair. In return, children can come to school in their non uniform on Friday 13th June. They can wear their Eid clothes or any other clothes from home for the day.
Please ensure that all donations are in date and suitable for vegetarians.

Events this week Our Reception children went to Mrs Dowson’s Farm on Wednesday. They learnt all about different animals, tasted Mrs Dowson’s ice cream and had a lovely day. The children told me that they enjoyed feeding the goats and stroking the rabbit and guinea pig.

Punctuality There were three classes where the children all arrived on time this week Y2S, Y4P and Y5E. |

Attendance Whole school attendance this week is 89.5%. Only Y4P achieved the target of 96%+ this week with 99% attendance |
Key Dates · Sports Day - (subject to weather) families are welcome to come and watch

· Phonics Screening Check for Y1 and some Y2 children to take place from Tuesday 10th June to Friday 13th June.
· 23 – 24th June - Sporting Event – All classes to take part in a fun physical activity
· Y6 Residential trip to Whitehough - Monday 7th July to Wednesday 9th July
· Summer Holiday School will close at 1.30pm on Wednesday 23rd July. School will reopen to pupils on Tuesday 2nd September. |
