Safeguarding

Safeguarding

At Reedley Primary School, all our staff work hard to make the school a safe place to learn and for our pupils to be cared for. We aim to protect pupils from harm, and promote the wellbeing and welfare of all who attend our school. We feel the school is committed in promoting the emotional, physical, mental and educational needs of every pupil.

If you have any concerns about a child's welfare or safety, please contact our Designated Safeguarding Lead, Mrs Catherine Simmonds, on Safeguarding@reedley.sch.uk or call 01282 693688.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead takes lead responsibility for safeguarding children in school. We have a further five Senior Leaders who make up the Safeguarding Team at Reedley, who all have had specialist safeguarding children training, and work to protect and keep pupils safe. Our Chair of Governors is the Safeguarding Link Governor who meets regularly with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to review safeguarding practices and check the Single Central Register.
