Dear Parents/Carers,
KEEP THE PAVEMENTS CLEAR FOR CHILDREN
Drivers are still parking their cars up on the pavements which poses a risk for our children.
Please speak to all drivers, including taxi drivers, and tell them that they should not park on the
pavements around school.
Every day I see cars driving onto pavements – sometimes with two wheels and sometimes with all four
wheels! Some drivers mount the curbs to drive past traffic whilst others drive onto the pavement to park.
Some cars get very close to our children.
Please park with all four wheels on the road and leave the pavements as safe places for our families to
walk.
Nothing is more important than the safety of our children.
