Dear Parents/Carers,

Transition Arrangements

• Monday 30th June: Children will find out who their new teacher will be for September.

• Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th July: Transition days

• children will spend time with their new teacher and practise classroom routines.

Entry/Exit Practice:

• Thursday AM: Usual door

• Thursday PM: New door

• Friday AM: New door

• Friday PM: Usual door
  Staff will be on hand Thursday afternoon to help direct you.

Attendance

• Whole School: 94.60%

• Classes that met the 96% target:

  • Y2S Swan – 99.18%

  • Y4R Otter – 98.61%

  • Y4P Red Fox – 97.85%

  • Y5 Dragonfly – 97.41%

  • Y3 Beavers – 96.93%

Punctuality

• Mrs King’s Reception Class: No lates – well done!

• Total lates this week: 72
  Please ensure all children arrive by 8.50am for a prompt start.

Upcoming Events

Rocksteady Concert – Monday 30th June, 2pm
Parents of Rocksteady performers are invited – others are welcome too if you're interested in your child joining.

Fitness is Fun!

All children enjoyed an exciting inflatable obstacle course as part of our Funda sessions this week  and even some staff joined in!

Y6 Residential – Whitehough

• Trip Dates: Mon 7th – Wed 9th July

• Parent Meeting: Wed 2nd July, 2.45pm
  Final payments are due by this date.

Y6 High School Transition

• Weds: QEGS

• Thurs: Fishermore, Primet, Pendle Vale, Marsden Heights

• Fri: Fishermore
  If your child is attending on a different date, please inform us.

Key Dates

• Y6 Residential: 7th–9th July

• Y6 Leavers’ Assembly: Weds 23rd July, 9.15am

• End of Term: Weds 23rd July, school closes at 1.30pm

• Autumn Term Begins: Tues 2nd September
