Achievements

We all have different goals and we all love to celebrate our achievements too. This page is to celebrate the success that we have in the Kingfisher class and in events outside of school. If you win a medal or a trophy, bring it in and we would love to see it.

What an amazing acheivement again. The two week battle took place over the half term break and results showed that the Kingfisher class won the whole competition with the top two children in the school coming from our class. Well done everyone.

Sue Dean Writing Award

Summer 1  - Gabriel. Gabriel has worked so hard to develop his writing skills over the last term. He now writes indepednetly, using his phonics to support his spelling and thinking carefully about the punctuation. The writing he did linked to the book Gulliver's travels was very impressive.

Summer 2 - Amara. Amara has really impressed me with her story writing. She has worked hard to use all the skills covered within the unit of work to produce a high quality piece of work. Her work has been a pleasure to read. Well done Amara.

Spring 1  - Hanna. Hanna's written work is always of an exceptionally high standard. It is always a pleasure to read her work and I was thrilled to be able to share her work with Mrs Gorrell as my class nomination for the Sue Dean award. Well done.

Spring 2 - Shareen. Shareen has made progress in her writing this half term.  She has stood out in class discussions with some wonderful ideas which have contributed to this progression and informed her wrtiting.  Both myself and Mrs Gorrell are extremely proud of her to be have been nominated.  Well done!
