Children at Reedley Primary School use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning.  

In school, we have regular ‘Online Safety’ activities to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online. This term we have looked at cyberbullying taking place online through the use of electronic devices when communicating with others. We have been thinking about the following questions: 

How does it feel? 

Who is a cyberbully? 

How do we tackle cyberbullying? 

We created a poster of top tips to stop cyberbullying and discussed how we could use kind words and show respect when speaking to others online. 

This term as part of the computing curriculum, Year 4 children have been learning about animation. We have explored 3 types of animation: 

2D 

3D  

Stop motion  

We used 2Animate to create 2D animations. We drew a series of images and put these into frames, we played the frames to make it look as though the drawing was moving.  

We also used animal figures to create a short stop motion animation story.
