We have agreed to take part in an evaluation project assessing the effectiveness of a programme called the 'Power of Reading'. This is a reading and writing programme that helps children to develop their reading and writing skills through engaging with high-quality children’s books.
The project will be carried out by the Education Endowment Foundation and Manchester Metropolitan University when your child is in Year 5 (20026 -2027). We are currently waiting to hear if we have been accepted onto the project. Please read the attached letter which gives you details on the project but also information on how you can withdraw your child from taking part in the data collection if you so wish.
