Phonics in Year 1

We follow Red Rose Phonics at Reedley and Phonics lessons take place every day in Year 1 and 2. 

Children are split into groups across Year 1 and 2 depending on the phase of Phonics that they are currently learning. 

A useful website for children to access at home is PhonicsPlay

You do not need a log in for this. Some of the games that they are familiar with are free. If they can not remember the sound they are currently learning that week, practicing any/all will absolutley be helpful in supporting your childs learning.
